Check its not an emergency

Call 999 immediately if you have any of the following symptoms

Heart attack

Chest pain or discomfort that suddenly occurs and doesn’t go away. It may feel like pressure, squeezing or heaviness in your chest. It can feel like indigestion or a burning sensation.

Seizure (fit)

Jerking movements of the arms and legs, stiffening of the body, loss of consciousness.

Bleeding

If the bleeding cannot be stopped, or if sustained deep cuts after an accident.

Stroke

One side of face drooping, when both arms raised in the air one will drift downwards, slurred or abnormal speech.

Severe difficulty breathing

Gasping for air, choking or lips turning blue.

Mental health concerns

If you are struggling with your mental health and are concerned for your well-being, or if you are concerned for the well well-being of somebody else.
